I was fortunate to find Filipino Saba (Banana Plantain) in the Chinese market last week although there’s plantains from the Philippines here but I still prefer our local saba in the palengke. I don’t like the texture of the export quality plantains and the taste is really yucky.
My daughter missed banana que so I cooked this one for snack. She loved it so much and she ate a lot to the point that she wasn’t able to eat dinner hehehe!
I bet every Filipino knows how to make banana que so I’d rather not write down the recipe.
