Unleavened bread is a flat bread that doesn’t use leavening agents. These flat breads holds special religious significance to adherent Judaism and Christianity.
Jews consume unleavened bread such as matzo during passover.
Unleavened bread is used in the Christian liturgy when celebrating Eucharist.
