How to Make Unleavened Bread?

This is a part of my daughter’s activity at school. They learned how to make unleavened bread, and so in the weekends, my daughter taught me how to make it too. Unleavened bread is a flat bread that doesn’t use leavening agents. These flat breads holds special religious significance to adherent Judaism and Christianity.

Jews consume unleavened bread such as matzo during passover.

Unleavened bread is used in the Christian liturgy when celebrating Eucharist.

Now, after some knowledge about it, here is the recipe in making unleavened bread.

3 cups flour
2 tbsp oil or butter
3 large eggs
1/2 cup water or milk
1 tsp. salt
1. Combine dry ingredients.
2. Combine eggs and oil, then beat.
3. Add eggs to flour. Add milk, then beat for 2-3 minutes.
4. Mold the dough into a flat circle, or in any shape that you prefer, put in a greased tray, and bake for 20 minutes in a hot oven (450 degrees).
Share and enjoy with family and friends!!!
